ndary of Camp-Half-Blood, which is a place for Half-God children.
At Camp-Half-Blood he finds out that his friend Grover is actually half goat and a Satyr. Percy joins cabin eleven and meets Annabeth who is a part of Athena’s cabin. Cabin eleven is the cabin for Half-Bloods who don’t know who their parents are or are children of minor gods. After the big “capture the flag game,” they discover that Percy is the son of Poseidon. This means that Poseidon broke the sacred oath he made with Zeus and Hades, and Percy will have to stay on the ground because if he enters Zeus’s domain he is sure to get blasted out of the sky. After this is revealed, the camp directors decide it is time for Percy to get his quest. Percy decides to bring Annabeth, Athena’s daughter, and Grover. Their mission is to find Zeus’s missing Master Bolt Zeus has accused Poseiden of stealing. Percy has to find it before the summer solstice; otherwise, Zeus has declared war on Poseidon. They travel all across Los Angeles looking. Along the way, they have a run in with a few monsters who would love to kill Percy. Percy, Annabeth, and Grover are all tested in the extreme situations they face.
