Mr. Kittelson

This year is Mr. Kittelson’s first year at Trottier Middle School. We wanted to ask him questions so the whole school could get to know him better.

Almost a third of the questions we asked included sports because he mentioned he had played sports in college while talking to us earlier in the year. As a kid, Mr. Kittelson played soccer and baseball as his main sports. Once he moved on to high school and college, he played tackle football as a receiver, and he ran track and field. His favorite sports players of all time include Tom Brady (Retired Pro Football Quarterback of the New England Patriots) and Usain Bolt (Professional Track Runner from Jamaica). As for his favorite sports teams, he likes the Patriots and Celtics.

One of our favorite questions we asked was, “What are 5 characteristics you would use to describe yourself?” Mr. Kittelson thinks of himself as, “Caring, understanding, good listener, funny, and a good driver!” He enjoys working in a school because he likes to see the best in everyone and watch everyone succeed. He thinks the kids and teachers consider him simple and approachable. Some of the things Mr. Kittleston enjoys are “crispy chicken parmesan”, and ravioli (as a kid). Wearing Banana Republic (a clothing brand) is one ofMr. Kittlestons favorite things. Mr Kittelson went to the college at Westfield State University. Mr. Kittelson also came from a Vice Principal job in Ashland MA. These are some of the many reasons why he is such a great Vice Principal.

We had a great time interviewing Mr. Kittelson, and enjoyed writing this article. We hope this helped you learn more about our new Vice Principal, Mr. Kittelson.
